Pricing¶

KruxOS is a proprietary product. The appliance — gateway, dashboard, runtime, and image — is governed by the End User License Agreement.

Free trial¶

Every new installation starts with a 30-day full-feature trial. No card required, no feature gates — the full v0.0.1 capability set is available from minute one. The trial activates during the dashboard's first-boot wizard at the License step.

Referral extension¶

Refer KruxOS to other operators and earn 30 additional trial days per referral.

Subscription¶

After the trial, monthly and annual subscriptions keep the appliance running. Subscriptions include:

All 89 typed capabilities across 13 categories
The full security model (policy engine, sandbox, vault, audit chain)
The web dashboard and kruxos CLI
Access to the community pack, plugin, and theme registries

Enterprise contracts¶

For multi-node deployments, compliance reporting (SOC 2 / HIPAA / FedRAMP), SSO / SAML / OIDC, or SLA guarantees, contact sales@altvale.com. These are contract-tier add-ons, not a separate edition.

Open extension surfaces¶

The community-extensible directories — packs/, plugins/, themes/, and docs/public/ — are licensed under Apache 2.0. KruxOS itself (the gateway, dashboard, runtime, and appliance image) is proprietary.
